Galaga
Galaga is a classic arcade game that was first released by Namco in 1981. It is a space-themed shoot ’em up game, in which players control a spaceship and must defeat waves of enemy aliens while avoiding their attacks.
In the game, players start with three lives and progress through levels by defeating waves of enemies. The enemies come in different formations and attack patterns, and as the game progresses, they become increasingly difficult to defeat.
One of the unique features of Galaga is the ability to capture the player’s spaceship and add it to the formation of enemy ships. If the player can destroy the enemy that has captured their spaceship, they will regain their captured ship and have the ability to use it as a double weapon.
Galaga has become a classic and is still played today on various platforms, including arcade machines, home consoles, and mobile devices. Its simple but addictive gameplay, combined with its iconic sound effects and graphics, have made it a favorite among gamers for over four decades.
