Paper.io 2

Paper.io 2 is a popular online multiplayer game and is the sequel to the wildly popular paper io. The game combines elements of strategy, skill, and territory control to create an engaging and addictive gameplay experience.

In Paper.io 2, the objective is to conquer as much territory as possible by moving your character around the game board. The board is a grid-like space filled with different colored areas representing territories. You control a small square-shaped character, and as you move, a trail of your color is left behind. By enclosing an area with your trail, you claim it as your territory. The more territory you conquer, the higher your score.

However, there is a catch: your character is vulnerable to being attacked by other players. If an opponent crosses your trail before you complete enclosing an area, you lose and are eliminated from the game. Likewise, you can attack other players by crossing their trails and eliminating them from the game.

The game features a multiplayer mode, allowing you to compete against other players from around the world. You can choose to play in a free-for-all mode where it’s every player for themselves, or you can join a team and work together to dominate the game board. The team mode allows for cooperative play and strategic planning with your teammates.

Paper.io 2 offers a variety of skins and customization options for your character, allowing you to personalize your gaming experience. Additionally, there are power-ups and bonuses that can be collected throughout the game to gain advantages over your opponents.

The game is known for its simple yet addictive gameplay, colorful visuals, and fast-paced action. It offers a competitive environment where players can test their skills, tactics, and reflexes against other players worldwide.

As the name implies, Paper.io 2 is a polished PvP survival game. In this game, you must spread your zone to the whole board without getting killed. Sounds pretty easy, doesn’t it? It is possible to avoid having your go cut short, however, if you follow these tips and tricks.

  • Play your cards right in Paper.io. You only have a few moves you can use, so when you do them, you win. The aim of the game is to gain as much space as possible, but this doesn’t mean you need to expand immediately. Take your time building your small zone; you don’t have to risk massive expansion as soon as you drop in.

  • It is important to know your enemy. Every individual in the game is going to try to either steal your zone or kill you, regardless of whether they have been in the game from the moment you joined, or if they have joined years later. Therefore, keep an eye out for danger from everyone on screen.

  • Every map in Paper.io is the same, a big white canvas with rounded edges. So take note of where you spawn on this canvas. If you spawn in the middle you’ll have players coming at you from every angle.

  • When you see someone expanding, don’t mindlessly charge at them; stay in your zone and lure them out. It is difficult to kill someone who is hiding in their home, so wait for them to expose their trail and strike. Attacking someone will expose your trail as well, so don’t go for kills that are far from your home.

  • You can dodge, dip, duck, dive and dodge. This tip is simply referring to how you can avoid death at all costs. That last act of desperation could save your life. For example, you see someone looking to get your trail, so you shoot. Just before they reach your trail, you manage to hit them. The kill should be secure as long as you are the one charging into him. I haven’t succeeded 100% of the time doing this, but keep in mind it’s kill or be killed.

  • Your best offense is defense. Making your territory that easy to defend is the best way to survive, and it lures others into your territory where you can easily pick them off. Don’t just expand in one single direction, this will make defending very difficult as you’ll have to patrol your entire zone to ward off competitors. You should aim to expand evenly in all directions instead of just expanding in one direction. A little here and a little there will keep you on top of invaders. Once again, being near the edge will help with this as its one less direction to worry about.

  • Getting used to the Paper.io 2 controls doesn’t take long. If you’re not used to them, it won’t take much time for you to get used to your limitations and become more aggressive. By killing individuals who branch out too far, you can put a smile on your face by playing the game passively at first. As you gain confidence, you can attempt to take on some big fishes by stealing their territory, which will aggravate them into attacking you. When they try to reclaim territory, you can attack while they are trying to do so. If one plan doesn’t work, move onto the next one. I wouldn’t expect to execute this plan perfectly every time, so adapt to what they do. They might not try to retake their territory since they are trying to lure you in.
